  1. I thought it was great that you did your respresentatives from your hometown. I'm from WI so that's where I did mine. I felt a little ignorant when I was doing it because I didn't know who my politicians were, but now I do and looking forward to the advocacy portion of this class!

  2. I also, thought that you doing your representatives from Chicago was a good idea. It's hard for me to keep up with Minnesota's politicians and I want to do a better job at keeping track of them. Advocacy is huge in health education so I definitely want to keep more informed in this area.

    I'm glad you did your reps from Illinois, because I know quite a bit about MN since I had to do mine on that for this post.

    Have you met any of your reps? Are you familiar with what their stand point is on environmental policies? I wasn't really sure about where my politicians views were on so I youtubed them and found out some great info. Hopefully they were telling the truth.

    One thing I missed about your post was what your representatives political affiliations were. Does Illinois lean towards a Democratic, republican, or neither state.
